Access Center

Common disabilities include: ADHD, learning disabilities, mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, sensory disabilities such as deafness and blindness, physical/mobility disabilities, and chronic medical conditions such as seizure disorders, chronic migraines and diabetes.

We also serve students with temporary disabilities, such as injuries to the hands, arms, feet and legs, which impede the ability to travel on campus or take exams.

We do not serve students with acute temporary illness such as meningitis, influenza, mononucleosis, and other acute conditions that take students out of class for one week or more.  Students in these situations are encouraged to work with course instructors and the Dean of Students office.
