Navigation
You can choose either a top bar or sidebar navigation for your site.
Side bar
To set up sidebar navigation use select the sidebar option in the theme settings section or your site's top node.
Page Top
To set up sidebar navigation use select the topbar option in the theme settings section or your site's top node.
The pagtop navigation follows the Priority+ Navigation Pattern which encourages using many top-level pages instead of a few pages with many nested child pages. While this can be good for handling more top-level pages or a "flat" page hierarchy, we still don't recommend going over 8-10 pages. Anything over that most likely will justify using a more structured navigation approach for which the sidebar menu would be more appropriate.
Kinds of External Links
External links are links that take your users away from your site, to a webpage outside of your set of pages. This will be marked by an arrow in the navigation.
External Navigation Links
Create these in the Offsite Links field of Site Settings Section on your sites home node. In a side panel navigation, these will show up at the bottom of the navigation panel delimited by a dashed line. In the topbar navigation, they will appear at the top.
Offsite Links
These are created the same way other pages are, except that they are the "offsite nav link" document type. They will be displayed along with other navigation elements. They could act as calls to action, redirect users to a form, etc.
Child pages that link offsite
These are created the same way other pages are, except that they are the "offsite nav link" document type. They will be displayed along with other navigation elements. These could act as calls to action, redirect users to a form, etc..
If you click on the "Is Call to Action" switch, you childpage link with show up as a redbox in the dropdown navigation of the topbar menu.
